ISLAM INC - BOYD DON'T RICE

On February 13, 1996 a 13-piece ensemble of industrial improvisation was randomly gathered with an intention of sole performance. The collective named Islam Incorporated gave a unique noise concert in the Karaite Kenesa of Kyiv. One week later three surviving members made the only one recording to commemorate this event. In 25 years their album finally saw the light of day.

All sounds were produced with a help of vintage PX-1000 reverb machine using its distinctive micro-sampling feature.

Only distorted human voices and microphone feedbacks served as signal source.

NIPPONESE PERFECTOR - THE CAVEMAN'S MODULAR

The Caveman’s Modular was recorded on tape in 1996 using two reel-to-reel tape recorders interconnected to form electronic feedback circuit. Their recording volume knobs were used as controllers to suppress the feedback signal of each recorder in a competitive way.

Faster, More Intense I - III are the experiments with fast forwarding of magnetic tape on dismantled reel-to-reel tape recorders.
